Super HD-550: Elevation Black Edition mod for Expeditions: A MudRunner Game.

This is an early-access PC release: This is a fully functional mod that incorporates all of the new Expeditions features. Consider this a Beta release since some game features are not currently working, or working as intended. My latest FJ Bruiser mod has yet to be approved for consoles, so I’m in no hurry to upload this.

The Super HD-550: Elevation Black Edition is inspired by the real-life Elevation Off Grid: Black Edition custom chassis-cab pickup trucks.

Due to its size and capabilities, the truck is a severe-duty off-road workhorse that bridges the gap between a Scout and an Off-road truck in EXP.

If you’ve used this truck in SnowRunner then you will have an idea of what to expect. This version is bigger and better with many improvements, optimizations, and new expedition-specific addon parts.

Unlike the default trucks, my Sideboard Cargo Slots are an addon, so they can be used with any style of bed on this truck. I made massive aluminum cargo cases that can be packed and stacked like the IRL Zarges Aluminum cases the pros use on Expeditions. No yellow tarps included. lol Having the cargo cases as a single addon is ideal for memory optimization, plus it allows you to configure your loadout based on the expedition at hand.

Different truck versions:
-Standard: Follows my typical tuning and setups.
-Vanilla-ish: This truck mimics a vanilla gameplay experience with default levels of damage, rollover angle, fuel consumption, winches, and a manual diff lock. There are also a variety of pure Vanilla/Default Engine and Gearbox tunes that are identical to default EXP tunes. I give the source for each tune in the description. OR use one of my custom performance tunes with default levels of damage and fuel consumption. So, with the Vanilla-ish Version the only items that are not ‘Vanilla/Default’ are my suspension tunes and vehicle mass.

Just a note, for suspension performance reasons most of my mods are about twice the weight of the default scouts, plus I increased the gravity a bit to combat the toy truck feeling these games are known for. I know some of the vanilla players are obsessed with the vehicle code/default numbers more than the actual performance, but I recommend using one of the Vanilla+ engine tunes to combat the added weight. They still have similar fuel usage without bogging down due to the underpowered engine. It’s your call.

The Addon Packs:
This truck has a lot of addon options, so I broke them up into 2 addon packs.

Foundation Pack: This pack includes the traditional OE and dealer-installed addon parts. Most items are centered around visual customization and the kind of stuff you would see on a stock-ish truck driving around town.

Overland Pack: This pack is centered around building the ultimate overlanding/expedition pickup truck for EXP. This is by far the most useful pack for campaigns. With the pickup Bed Rack installed you have 9 Multipurpose Slots for fuel or repair parts. Then the bed has a variety of addon options including 4 Sideboard Cargo Slots.

About the chassis-cab foundation:
For those who don’t know chassis-cab trucks come from the factory with straight frame rails at the back that allow for multiple frame-mounted utility bed options.

These trucks are also about 4 inches longer than a standard F-250/350/450 long pickup truck, so Elevation Off Grid builds longer custom beds with a factory appearance.

Like the EOG trucks, this mod is riding on an aftermarket LiquidSpring Smart Suspension. The coils and leaf springs are replaced by a fully active computer-controlled hydraulic setup that allows a plush ride while keeping its 9,500lb payload. All of these parts were modeled based on the IRL trucks/chassis.

Wrapping things up…
Like all of my mods, this is built with 4K / current-gen systems in mind, so all those details come with more memory usage and a larger file size.
